For many people “resting” is a word that is not even in their vocabulary, we now live in a reality where time appears to be speeding up, but is it really? is it the perception that is created thru the manipulation of humanity into believing that they are somehow “behind”?
It is not possible to “get ahead” of yourself, this is a very limiting belief that can grow arms and legs, we may have experienced this illusion when we have tried to tell ourselves that if we do X or Y we are somehow ahead of ourselves because we have done it now and not at some other time. The human logical brain will try endless scenarios if it is permitted.
RESTING is not simply sleeping, it is allowing the human physical vehicle to recover from the stresses and strains that it is subject to and for many within humanity these stresses and strains are EMOTIONAL. We do not have to do very manual labor to become stressed and strained. ENERGY JUST IS, emotional energy when used up becomes an emotional energy debt, this is when we just “carry on” for whatever reason and ignore the signs that our human physical vehicle is struggling.
So what do we do if we see the signs? these signs can be anything from feeling very physically tired, to feeling under the weather and beginning to be poorly. The UNIVERSE will respond to ENERGY DEBT by attempting to stop us from moving too much. If we ignore the warnings then our human physical vehicle will begin to break down in various ways.
KNOWING where our limits are is part of the solution. If we can recognise where we are slowing down and why we can alter our responses. For many it is about boundaries, putting in a boundary that keeps us emotionally debt free is vital. This may mean saying “no” to those around us but remember it is not their human physical vehicle that will respond, it is ours. Self care is vital as we now navigate a new year and begin to try to navigate in ways that are healthier for us. We can eat all the healthy food and exercise all we like but if we are not addressing the EMOTIONAL quotient of our human life experience this will begin to work against us.
It starts with the witnessing of our own human physical vehicle. How do we feel, scanning our human physical vehicle energetically by simply taking our focus to various parts of our bodies. Do we need more sleep? do we need more fluids? do we need to switch off the technology and go read a book? take a bath and simply be aware of how the water makes us feel?
The outer waking reality conditions us to separate our feelings from our human physical vehicles by giving the illusion that somehow we must be perfect, this is not possible. It is not possible to drink from an empty cup. This is especially relevant if you are a parent or a carer. Exhaustion does not help anyone least of all ourselves.
Being kind starts with ourselves, be kind to YOU. Be nourishing to YOU. From this place of balance then all begins to shift and to expand.
